🚨⚠️ EMERGENCY FUNDRAISER ⚠️🚨
Car inspection went bad. Has a lot wrong with it, estimate is at $1,117 for repair cost. It'd put us behind a solid 6 months. Need some serious help, we live in the USA and rely on our car for transportation.

Using AI in earlier stages of the process but keeping its output out of the final product doesn't un-use AI.
If anything it's more offensive - "don't worry, the harm we're causing on purpose won't directly affect YOU" is a deeply cynical and greedy position that assumes the worst of players.

god forbid a woman have hobbies
Like, yes, some of the first games that got high profile blowback over AI use ended up in that position because that output did make it to release.
But we didn't just get mad because there was AI garbage in the game. We got mad because they used AI. At all. Period.
This constant PR strategy of "don't worry, we only use the fundamentally unacceptable plagiarism engine to make humans obsolete in *one* vital step of the process" is really showing how badly companies misunderstand the problem.
We're not just mad about AI output being in the finished product!
