For Spencer it would be a classic "kid finds a weird creature and keeps it secret from everyone else until more and more shenanigans occur and the creature finally breaks loose causing chaos." Except the creature would be something undead. And Bruce would be in on it. Think ET or the Waterhorse.
Spencer's mentor was his grandfather who was a priest of the Gray Lady as well. Spencer's father was not really in his life much, so his grandad was his main father figure. They were very close and Spencer misses him dearly. He passed away about 10 years ago.
They didn't talk for about 8 years, once Wren ran away from Fenholt, but have reconnected since she came back. Things are awkward between them, but Scarlet clearly still cares. Wren has chosen to go against some of the things Scarlet taught her, which is a source of friction.
Jenny expected her to be soft/weak and to eventually go running back to her family. Most everyone in the gang wrote Wren off except Scarlet who actually took training her seriously. Scarlet is a hard, closed off person and taught Wren to be the same way, because she thought it would protect her.
because she came from a fairly successful merchant family instead of being a street kid. No one knew about her background except Scarlet and Jenny (gang boss) but she was behind the other kids in skills and never quite fit in because of her different upbringing.

#AwesomeCharacters For Wren it would be a heist with a cast of dangerous characters working alongside a teenaged, scrappy Wren who's trying to stay ahead of everyone without compromising her morals too deeply. A mix of Snatched and The Thief Lord. 1/2 #Wrencer #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts
#AwesomeCharacters Wren's mentor is Scarlet, a Blackboot thief who trained her and many other recruits for the gang. Scarlet and Wren always had a special connection. Wren came to the gang later than most kids (13) and was a bit of an outsider 🧡 #Wrencer #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts
Akieryon wished he had learned a spell to make himself invisible, but of course the Ferrymen had ways of seeing the unseen. This one muttered something under her breath, sighed, and extended one hand. At her touch, the soul of the slain assassin became visible to Akieryon’s eyes. #sundaysnips

For the #Sundaysnips Tinidri is shy to meet a stranger of an unknown origin who suddenly appeared as out of nothing in the forest, but hospitality is one of her duties as keeper of the forest. She makes herself invisible before making herself visible to meet him.
