There's a disturbing tendency in this City (and in the Mayor's office) to wait on other levels of gvt before acting, or even choosing to act.
What happens if/when the prov legislation is useless? How long are City staff content to allow tenants fall prey to landlords with $ signs in their eyes?
Ottawa's home opener attendance is down 30% this year and suddenly we start hearing ads for the Redblacks on OC Transpo's buses? Must be a coincidence.
I'm sure all of the City's rosiest Lansdowne 2.0 projections hinging on the Redblacks selling out most of its games has nothing to do with this. 🤔
Will the next mayor rein in @en.ottawa.ca staff? I think of this, demanding grey buildings (with no legal authority), hiding key documents from councillors, etc. They aren’t even exercising delegated authority — who authorized subdelegation to the mayor’s flunkies?

Somebody made a Z's (IYKYK) post on r/ottawa today and it reminded me that I have a bunch of sets from the '07-'09 (?) era recorded.
Not the tightest mixing, but considering we monitored thru the backs of our ears (again, IYKYK) and played on rackmount Denons I think we did alright.
