As I explain here, the Labour party in power think the scum left are the few people they abuse online and not a large proportion of the 10 million Black and Brown people, whose votes they lost in cities, and we talk about how vile they are to our white friends, colleagues, and partners.

Things that have occurred to me today: it is IMO possible that quite a few of the Labour lads really are so awesomely stupid, that they really did think it was only a tiny number of people who would take serious offence at them calling the left scum and vermin who needed to be destroyed.
