This is a question that everyone knew would make it to the Supreme Court since Jennings v. Rodriguez in 2018, which overturned a decision finding that the government must provide a bond hearing after 6 months of detention prior to a removal order.
There are a lot of fears about a decision here.

The Supreme Court will also consider whether a noncitizen has a due process right to receive a bond hearing when they've been detained for an unreasonably long time during removal proceedings, though there's a chance the case will be moot. Genalo v. Black.
