OK! I'll Wear Gardening Gloves Made a rare exception, putting on cotton gloves to examine a gorgeous floral English embroidered dos-à-dos binding at the Fisher Library yesterday! (The metallic thread made them necessary.) Like the Newberry puzzle binding, it's 17th c. and religious in nature...
