A different kind of #DailyMile today - great company from Ramblers Scotland & the Holyrood Park Ranger service.
Our Walk in the park was fabulous - connecting with geology, nature, wildlife, history & getting some exercise in too.
Powerful medicine!

Another great article from Ben Dolphin, reminding us about the dangers of ticks.
This spring has been particularly bad for me, I got dozens of ticks in the West Highlands on 2 trips despite taking all precautions. Pretty sure it’s due to high deer densities. Does rather put you off wild camping!
Looking forward to our next trip to Inver Croft at Achnasheen on 19-22 June. We've had some great weekends there over the years - and of course all kinds of weather! We enjoy climbing the hills but do also lower level walks too.
New members are welcome on our monthly trips away.

Immigrants & asylum seekers are not our enemies. They are not responsible for the austerity, privatisation, erosion of civic life, thinning of democracy and concentration of power we suffer. But they're being punished for these things. Punished at the behest of the very people who *are* responsible.
