Whenever I see a user onboarding flow which either
1. prohibits passwords over a certain length; or
2. prohibits passwords containing specific characters
I automatically assume that system is storing passwords in plaintext.

This really doesn't get enough attention in the whole “should society restrict children's access to the Internet?” conversation. For a lot of kids, having access to the World Wide Web is the only way they're able to learn that what's happening to them even constitutes abuse in the first place.
