Started shadowing a local bee keeper recently in prep for my own hives next year. The very 1st day of shadowing a bee crawled into my veil and started flying and crawling around my face. We got it sorted and he was like "you're definitely built for this" he'd never seen someone so new stay so calm.
I'm in desperate need of a geologist or IGS member who can aid in ID of a specimen I have. Looked locally with no luck, my soils & geology professors are no longer at my alma mater, and my uncle hasn't been in his field in decades. I might have something special, or I might just have serpentine. 🧪🪨
