I think this is a fair assessment. I think it's important to try and be as ethical as possible, and I believe most of us are trying. Sometimes we don't see a problem with something until it's too late, other times people disagree about how bad something is. It's fine to be uncomfortable with that.
Deleted my initial post about the Fortnite collab; I apologize for being dismissive of the myriad concerns about this game, which were more than I had realized. Like you, I hope that this collab was signed into print before all of Fortnite's recent controversies involving AI and transphobia.
