I believe in constructive bullying for politicians. that doesn't include threatening violence of course, but the average third way berserker responds to any criticism at all like a cop who sees a dog exactly one time (179 rounds discharged, 13 on target)

…and then in the same breath it's like, "wow, there sure are a lot of antisemitic conspiracy theories floating around on the internet!" yeah I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that every criticism leveled against the state of Israel and its military gets called antisemitic racist hate
I think the downstream effect of this is really bad and will get even worse!

I once made a post about how we should bully Pete Buttigieg out of politics. I got *inundated* with rage DMs for a few days after, like full-on "what is your address, I'm going to kill you" tier stuff. in retrospect the tone of those DMs and the politics behind them was trial-run bluesky dot social
Side note but: I had to explain to a young American friend why "ZOG" was a bad thing to say, and he 1) was really contrite 2) had no idea of its origin 3) apparently sees people using it all the time on social media that he and his peers use
My friend is 21 and from the south, and when I told him the story about David Duke getting nearly 40% of the vote when running for governor of Louisiana he was just like, "i am a white person from the south and basically nothing about the south shocks me and this shocks the living shit out of me"
what makes me deeply uncomfortable is that, if you object to your taxes being used to fund the government that does this, you're immediately told that you're committing a hate crime and denying Jewish self-determination, and there's not even the faintest effort to convincingly deny the act itself…
There was a guy in 2004 who did a troll post where he bought the most expensive Mac and said "I like the case but I hate Macs so I disassembled it and put a PC inside" and some of the emails he got were just like Saw films level of violent fantasy. This site is that but in support of means testing
i actually *don't* think that an army of racist teens and twentysomethings torturing a 1-year-old child is the sine qua non of Judaism but when I say "I do not want my government to support the actions of this group materially in any way" the response is typically some form of calling me Hitler
