Thanks Matt. I was thinking about how I was feeling yesterday and then seeing this post cleared up some things. I guess I just didn't want something I hold so dear to change, just to search for the "right" validation from some fandoms and was self-deprecating myself in the process. --

I don’t need constant validation or refer to myself as a burden to keep going. All it takes is a little bit of kindness and empathy not to be hostile or extremely immature towards people I care about.
