Marcia Lucas' contributions to Taxi Driver, New York New York, and the original Star Wars trilogy gave those films a considerable amount of their artistic merit. I hope she went out having found serenity with her place in cinema history.
I think her contribution was essential but so was Paul Hirsch and Richard Chew’s. I think the internet tends to think of things as either/or and not yes/and, to detriment of everyone
Now, personally - and this is something I will talk about in the PCD video - I think you can see much more of Lucas' experience becoming a father in the content of the PT.
For example, the final two scenes of the PT show the adoption of children.
