A man does what’s right when no one is watching. He upholds his commitments to his family and neighbors. He doesn’t lie, cheat, & steal his way through life.
Real men serve others. Weak men serve themselves.
My favourite (recent) tech glitch is from the running/cycling website Strava. There’s a “walking steps” challenge which challenges people to amass 100,000 steps walking in a month - roughly equivalent to 70-80 km.
The glitch shows people picking up 2+ billion steps in a single walk 1/

Ran Ottawa Marathon this morning, my 23rd marathon race. Set a new PB - at the age of 58 - and broke three hours for the first time. Chip time of 2:57:33 was good enough for second in my age group and 211th overall. At this age, every PB is a treasure so I’m bragging today.
The violence carried out against Muslims in our country is the embodiment of all the anti-Muslim rhetoric from those in power in our country.
This is why condemning anti-Muslim rhetoric is equally as important as condemning anti-Muslim violence.
Words lead to actions.

The best part of this is that some people are outraged that someone in Uruguay is getting credit for something that is very clearly just a glitch, as if winning an Internet challenge by claiming to have walked the equivalent of 45,000 trips around the planet is thing anyone would do. 2/2
