I've been a broken record on this for three years and I'll be a broken record for as long as that fucking website exists:
X is a viciously racist far-right organising platform that ONLY WORKS because a huge number of centrists, lefties and progressivs cannot stop propping it up
I've had this debate with my centrist friends who still use that site. The most common excuses:
All the big news outlets are there.
My superior intellect makes me immune to the far right noise which I deftly tiptoe like crossing a field peppered with landmines.
You need to hear both sides.
The last point bugs me the most. "You got to hear both sides" is a complete fallacy and why anyone would want to surrender any part of their mind to that crap is beyond me.
The only somewhat true statement there is point one which really isn't a good reason since all the major news sites deploy reasons two and three shifting the entire discussion to fascism.
