This is supported by evidence of the use of drilled type in the period 1472-86 as well as evidence that printing trays (possibly with foot blocks) may have preceded locked chases, and explains why line pairs in the Catholicon Press books sometimes moved together or otherwise acted as a unit. (2/2)
