Idling pollutes the air wherever it happens, but near schools and childcare centres it’s especially harmful, because children are right there, walking, playing, & breathing in exhaust at close range.
‘Idle Off’ is parents & doctors working together to encourage drivers to switch their engines off.

DEA is proud to be among the 74 organisations that have signed the Global Call to the COP31 Presidency, calling on the Presidency to prioritise health in the COP31 Action Agenda.
The climate crisis is a health crisis. Yet, health was absent as a distinct priority in the initial draft of the Agenda.
This call, led by the Right to Clean Air Platform, pushes back on that omission, urging the COP31 Presidency to place health at the centre of the Action Agenda, integrate health across all agenda priorities, and recognise fossil fuels as health-harming products.
Happy Global Wind Day! 💨
Today we celebrate the power of wind energy & its potential to reshape our energy systems for the better.
Clean energy from wind improves our air & reduces the pollution fuelling climate change, saving money & improving the health of all Australians. It's a win-win-win(d)!
