this is also why i frequently reference the 2yo more often than the 5yo. i promise i pay attention to both of them, the 2yo is just constantly in my face talking to me and the 5yo tends to be very quiet and independent lol

having a nonverbal kid as your first experience with raising a baby, followed by a *very* verbal kid is wild sometimes. i never know what to expect.
like, my 2yo is saying things like “wow, good job mama, you did it!” and my 5yo is learning to say the word “cheese”
it’s just…nuts lol
