if you ban therapists from saying "you should kill yourself", that would be exactly as bad as banning them from saying "you should not kill yourself"

When the bans on *affirming* care reach SCOTUS the Republican justices will flip their positions. Kagan will write a stirring dissent calling her colleagues out on their hypocrisy, BUT IT WILL BE A DISSENT.
Republicans are hypocrites and FINE WITH THAT. They're winning, that's all they care about.

Conversion therapy is abuse. I would support classifying it as such and banning the practice outright. I think the abuse classification is important because it’s the first step in being able to hold perpetrators accountable for the pain they inflict on the LGBTQ community.
