Yes I'm watching Midsomer Murders and Troy just shouted "why can't they look ...in the mirror!" at a car that cut him up, prompting Barnaby to shout "Of course! ...the mirror!"
Solve the problem of the "they can't die" lack of jeopardy in 'Young' versions of TV shows like Endeavour, Young Sheldon etc, by killing the characters in 50% of the shows. Then simply change the title of Inspector Morse to Inspector Morse (Ghost)
When a line sounds weird/unnatural in a sitcom = it's setting up a joke in the next line
When a line sounds weird/unnatural in a murder mystery = it's setting up the detective to go "of course! That's it! [solves the murder]"
When a line sounds weird/unnatural in real life = I am doing flirting
