There’s a LOT of fandom and even workers who don’t understand that if animation is your job, animation Is Your Job, and a job is how you support yourself/pay your rent, especially if you dedicate most of your weekly working time to it.

Sometimes I’m reminded why I have a dislike for a certain section of animation fandom/discourse is that people think fully animated kickstarters should be done free or shouldn’t dare to ask for an already lowered budget even by American and even Japanese productions.
