I'm excited to announce the first beta of our official #AzureSDK for #rustlang crates! This initial release includes Key Vault Secrets and Keys, Event Hubs including AMQP support, our core crates, and Identity. Cosmos is following soon. We have more planned including some usability improvements.
But I can’t deny feeling safer as a family now that we live in a place with clear federal legal protections for queer families, solid gun control laws, and universal public healthcare (even if it is a very strained system 😬).

Was our decision to move politically-motivated? Not entirely. As a dual citizen, with solid ties on both sides of the border, we wanted to give our whole family a chance to experience being Canadian (and getting Mary on the path to 🇨🇦 citizenship)

FYI, due to a publishing bug, the `key_auth` feature that enables key-based auth did not get properly published in the 0.22.0 release. We’re working on fixing that right now and planning to release a 0.22.1 release with that fix soon!
Some more details: This is a “Gateway Mode” SDK (learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/...). It’s also a fairly basic first version supporting item CRUD, single-partition querying, and item patching. More features are on the roadmap, but feel free to file issues if you have specific needs!
