While I'm working on revising a different story you can read this one. It's all about how healthcare stinks and ways we could possibly make it worse. But the ending? I'm real proud of that ending. It was euphoric to write.

Heads up to the Pokemon Go players: This is the data that's being used nefariously, and if you want to play, this is the guidance. I would say simply don't give it access to your camera/use AR mode. Then they can't collect the data and you can just play the game.
Im reading Bad Company by Megan Greenwell, finally, and man o man does it make you realize there are some people who love to make people suffer or refuse to open their eyes to how they make others suffer and they are not good people no matter how much they love their families or donate to charity.
My power is still out so read this story where you have to pay money into a vending machine to stay alive!

They did it with covid (it's wild that when people talk about mishandling of covid, it's always in the context of "did we actually do *too much* to fight the virus?" and not "boy, Trump's mistakes early in the pandemic sure let it tear through the country unimpeded."),
Ya know what isnt full of AI bullshit? This story! Instead it has some boxes with people in them and a guy who doesnt really want to think about boxes with people in them.
