EMBL-EBI Team Leader Sandra Orchard reflects on a life in protein science, UniProt data curation, and championing open data standards.
We identified many differentially expressed genes and found differences in gene ontology processes between groups. Genes involved in cell cycle regulation were enriched in miniature taxa, while genes associated with growth factors and tissue development were enriched in large-bodied gobies.
