Excited to have my Criterion NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD 4K, my Second Sight DAWN OF THE DEAD 4K, and my Shout Factory DAY OF THE DEAD 4K next to each other on the shelf. It feels appropriate to Romero that each is released with a different company. Romero containing multitudes.
Mary Beth Hurt passed away. She was a great actress, but the one that will always hit me the most is her work as Helen Home, Garp's (Robin Williams) wife in THE WORLD ACCORDING TO GARP. Her character is very human, and I always weep at the end. "Helen?" "Yes, my love?" "I'm flying. Turanturatura..."
I would love to see a great biopic of Spinell. In ROCKY, two of the GODFATHER movies, friends with Spielberg, Coppola, and Stallone, a horror movie legend, and tragic but powerful life. Deserves to be remembered.
