We made it out. New gps works great combined with aquamap on ipad. We were able to navigate in the channel like a champ! The engine, the autopilot, the depth sensor all work with the exception of the speed sensor, as usual. Argh. Such a mess to clean the paddle while taking in grimy marina water.

tfw the weather is nice and there's a light breeze ideal for a shakedown sail but you cannot yet go out because it's low tide and you have a 6.5' draft 😑 (we're past the period where we used to say eff that, go out, get stranded in the channel, and had to wait until rising tide rescued us)
