From this vantage point you can see several areas we've restored on the farm.
Standing in the orchard, which was once covered with invasive brambles, you can see the goat pasture we added.
Beyond that in the distance is the upland prairie — a five acre native slope that we restored with NRCS.

Weather is unpredictable but, the combination of low snowpack in the mountains this winter with mild super wet weather makes me very nervous about this year's fire season.
There's SO MUCH vegetation that is likely to dry out by early summer and become kindling.
