A good chunk of my characters in Impossibelle are expies of Marvel and DC characters with some tokusatsu and kaju mixed in for flavor.
An interaction with a weird old lady gets Bella turned into a mermaid (and Jynx into a small crab stripped of her powers).
I know this would have been perfect for Mermay but I didn’t get it done in time.

Is any of your original characters expies? Or did some headcanons morph a character into an original character?
(An expy is a character that was based on a different character, but with tweaks to their presentation/behaviour to create a new character.)
