The Arsenal thing doesn't make any sense. That corner was already 100% the last action of the half, so there was no time left to waste. It was also a chance for Arsenal to score a second goal, so of course they're going to take time to set it up properly. Have never seen this kind of decision before
We're also obsessed with making sure the designated thrower throws the ball, usually the fullback, or Rice if it's a long ball. So when Trossard has the ball and could do a quick one to Gyokeres, we don't do that, we wait until Hincapie goes up, give him the ball to throw, then immediately lose it

Arsenal are one of the worst teams when it comes to throw ins. We're not taking that long to waste time (we take just as long if not longer when we're not winning), we're just bad at it. Half of the time, we lose possession immediately because we're taking it too slow and the oppo has regrouped.
Go up to random people, shake your fist in the air and scream "CHAMPIONS!!". And when they ask "what's wrong with you", scream back "ARSENAL".
Even if he felt Arsenal was wasting time to stretch the corner into the last action of the half, he could always use his judgement to extend injury time as he sees fit. The fact that he blows before the corner was taken proves the corner was definitely the last action, so how does time wasting help?
Opposition fans should welcome us taking time to throw the ball, because it's the best way to nullify us. Be careful what you wish for, because once we figure out we can actually throw them a bit quicker, we're going to transition the f*ck out of opposition teams.
