Had a good convo about bartering my truck that doesn’t run (and I don’t want to spend money on). The trade will garner me grass removal, river pebble, compost hauling. And as many Concord grapes I care to pick. 🤭it’s a ‘94 Silverado. So I feel like I made a good trade.
Fucking around in my yard. My neighbor asked me if I wanted stew meat and asked if I had an onion. I got a couple of pounds of meat and I went out and bought him a bag of onions. He said I was “the sweetest” as I walked back home. “Aaaah! Stop it! We gotta look out for each other!”
Saw the Karner Blue in the well of the hosta leaves. Was happy to see ‘em. Then another Karner Blue buzzed by to harass them. And I have this feeling of gratefulness to see two at the same time. I got a hummingbird fly by and it disrupted the moment. I feel so lucky right now.
“I’m glad you’re my neighbor!”❤️I’m glad he’s my neighbor too.
