I know Calvin’s dad is already having a moment, but every terrible “outsource precious and fleeting moments with your children to tech so that you can spend more time on your work” pitch makes me think of that one strip I never really cared about as a kid, but care a lot about as an adult.
really tho. there's a whole wider line for normal people (non-bicyclists) right next to the bicycle line. there's almost noone there, and there are lots of sports riders here (and also one slow me). why do moms with strollers hate their children this much?
you know the games on old button phones when you play as a car (and move it ←→↑↓) and as the screen slides down obstacles and/or other cars move at you?
there needs to be a similar game but you are a bicycle on the bicycle line & obstacles are moms w/ strollers and small children running around.
the severe misread of youth by ai prophets is that at 22 you’re starving for agency. all your life you’ve waited to call your own shots. the idea that what you get instead is “tell the machine to draw a horse” is inherently offensive
