I wonder if Alex Toth ever saw Grist's work. And if he did - what he thought of it?
Because in many ways Grist seems to naturally grasp what it took Toth decades to learn.

There's a particular pleasure to the way in which Grist composes his pages. And I use the word 'compose' here intentionally - they are each like a symphony in miniature. Both simple and complex. Each movement part of a greater whole.
