I know this is hopelessly naive but I genuinely never thought so many people would be comfortable using a website designed to help coordinate fascist activity.
Ruud Gullit
"The World Cup belongs to the world, not to governments, political interests, or football administrators. It belongs to the players, the referees, and the supporters.
If FIFA cannot guarantee that all three are treated fairly and equally, then it has failed in its most fundamental duty.
This has nothing to do with stopping crime. It is to do with a global far-right movement, coordinated on X, organised by some of the most powerful men in the world from Silicon Valley to the White House inews.co.uk/opinion/fara...
Everyone using X - including the UK government - is facilitating this neo-Nazi's calls for violence in the UK. This is morally indefensible. Just stop already.
there were already many reasons to do this but Elon Musk actively encouraging racist violence in Belfast should be the final straw for every UK government institution to stop doing business - including being on X - with him in any way, and for him to be barred from entry to the country.
would be nice if my concerns about racists, fascists, and a white supremacist, who’s called for the government to be overthrown, using his far-right skewed social media platform to spread hatred were seen as legitimate as racists’ concerns
Also feels like almost no one is willing to say the blindingly obvious
‘What happened in Belfast is awful and - right now - there is no evidence that it was anything other than an isolated evidence. All this stuff about communities ‘not being safe’ isn’t based on any evidence’
