I'm mostly getting away from star rail cause of hoyoverse wanting to use gen ai but also I need to get away from gachas that actually make me want to spend money...
Each character have specific abilities that react differently to each other like how the follow up attacks worked. And even if a certain character was made for one specific character, you could pair them work for someone else for something different.
...I am having THE hardest time finding a replacement for star rail. Like there are very specific aspects of it that just tickled my brain and I can't seem to find anything like it.
The thing that I liked about it is how the combat worked and team building.
And I really liked making weird ass teams that really shouldn't work but end up working.
And the other thing is like making the specific team types like a Break team, a DoT team or Follow up attack team. Like I want the teams to have actual synergy with each other-
