Hang on, you need GPU-filled hotboxes just to produce AI tokens? These people are utterly insane.
If you build three gigawatts of solar in the desert, and then use all of that to power the melting of computer chips to run GenAI (instead of helping to push fossil fuels out of the system through an undersea cable to Asia), what's the benefit to climate, or biodiversity or environment?
