this has been one of the top ten days of my life
many of the manuscripts were from the 15th century, though there were a few that were older. this choir book and psalter was Italian 16th century, and the sound of flipping its pages was indescribable

looking at it again - thistle's final moments has his braid in disarray, but when laios and co take him in, he has loose hair. when they tucked him under blankets, they also made sure to brush his hair and make sure he was neat... ooo... T.T

i'm always so fond of laios' gentleness towards thistle.. even when others describe him as blunt and socially inept, he's really thoughtful and kind even when the situation doesn't necessitate it.
