gotta say the footage of the Arsenal celebrants is what's getting me through, the whole crowds trying to find who lost their keys and who lost their kids and cheering babies at windows
both of these are really brutal, horrific crimes, but we're only supposed to feel existentially challenged by one of them, where the other is only a symptom of something lots of women of all backgrounds have had to deal with all their lives. priorities!!!!!
and that one's sickening: a man killed his pregnant girlfriend in an attack he'd actually planned for so specifically he pretended to be live streaming as an alibi. this is a murder both coldly planned in advance and, as said here, frenzied. but obviously nothing to be worried about, eh
@clairehanna.bsky.social : "Last week, in a very high profile case, the murder of Natalie McNally, the judge.. talked about a frenzied knife attack, he talked about wounds so bad the cause of death was unable to to be determined. There were no riots over the perpetrator of that brutal crime"
