Yeah that's gonna be a THING. Local counsel isn't supposed to be just a potted plant, but you SHOULD be able to rely on the professionalism of the out of state lawyers.
And if you can't?
With AI sanctions like this -- where local counsel is sanctioned and referred for discipline because of the out-of-state attorney's use of hallucinating AI -- the local counsel system of out-of-state appearances is going to CRATER.
