The French are taking digital sovereignty really seriously. They've made huge progress with their own digital collaboration suite in the last year, so they can strip out Office365 and Google Workspace: lasuite.numerique.gouv.fr Email, chat, docs, sheets and even video meetings!
It's 100% open-source, so you can explore it yourself, and even deploy your own version if you're geeky enough! Would be great to see the UK gov join the project, use it and contribute. github.com/suitenumeriq...

Ok, enough. The BBC should not have a ‘commercial content arm’ producing advertorials with the backing of the BBC brand. Should do no more than license and promote BBC progs to wider audiences as was initially intended.

In times of flux, it's the responsibility of a CEO to create optionality — being ready to respond, for resilience. BP shareholders should punish the CEO for this politically motivated short-term move. But... they'll go for short term greed too, and probably vote through a bigger pay deal as thanks.
