Halfway through ‘The Shadow of the Torturer’ & I can readily see why this has such a strong reputation.
Admittedly, I still don’t quite know where it’s all heading, but I’m having such a good time I feel I needn’t worry about the destination.
And there’s plenty to think about along the way…
