I just saw I LOVE BOOSTERS and loved it. It's so witty and crazy, and packed with bright colors, practical effects, and stop-motion. I had to doodle this funny moment from the movie. Go see it!
A nice short I'd never seen before: LE PAPILLON (2002) by Antoine Antin & Jenny Rakotomamonjy, which has a very cool visual style that resembles an ink wash painting.
RIP Marjane Satrapi, the great cartoonist and film director, best known for PERSEPOLIS. She was only 56. A great talent. She will be missed.
