Thrilled that my recent paper, Hippocampal Ripples during Offline Periods Predict Human Motor Sequence Learning, was selected for the โThis Week in The Journalโ highlight! ๐คฉ
Huge thanks to @bstaresina.bsky.social and our collaborators who made this work possible!

Happening now! Come say hi before I go back to England๐
๐ Preprint: โHippocampal ripples evoke a stereotyped cortical response followed by spindle-mediated network synchronization.โ
Combining iEEG+scalp EEG during sleep, we show that hippocampal ripples leave a decodable cortical fingerprint and are followed by brain-wide spindle synchronization!
Excited to be back to SoCal at #HSN2025 and #SfN2025 to present my recent work with @bstaresina.bsky.social. Pls come say hi. Would love to connect!
Hi friends,
If youโre attending #CNS2025, come check out my poster (F5) tomorrow (April 1st) from 8-10am on my recent work with @bstaresina.bsky.social: Cortical Signatures of Hippocampal Ripples in Human Sleep.๐ด
Or just come say hi! ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ

๐ Big shoutout to our amazing lab members who presented their posters at #CNS2025! ๐
So great to see @mskehl.bsky.social , @manqisha.bsky.social , @xianhuihe.bsky.social and Mathew Thomas Kollamkulam showcasing their hard work and research! ๐ง

๐PREPRINT: Sleep ripples drive single-neuron reactivation for human memory consolidation
1/9: How does sleep support human memory consolidation? To test this, we recorded hundreds of neurons in the human medial temporal lobe (MTL) across learning, wakefulness, and sleep.
