Join us next Tuesday!!!
We had such a wonderful panel discussion on childhood and the politics of gender and sexuality yesterday!!! It's such a privilege to get four of my favorite sociologists on the same panel and I learned so much from the conversation!!!
Happening in 30 minutes!!!
I'm very honored and excited to have been elected to serve as Council Member for the ASA Ethnomethodology and Conversation Analysis Section! 🀩 Really looking forward to supporting and advocating for interactionist scholars in sociology in this new role! 😊
Now that my pink hair is gone, I really need to learn how to do makeup πŸ‘Ώ (Is there a hybrid masculinity overcompensation thesis?)
TOMORROW!!!
Dressed extra colorful for departmental meeting πŸ€ͺ
#Sociology friends: Do you have any former undergrad student (or yourself) who turned a BA thesis (or other undergrad work) into a peer-reviewed publication? I'm thinking about putting together a bibliography of peer-reviewed studies that started as undergraduate researchπŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“ #teaching #undergraduates
Follow-up question: Does anyone know of any undergraduate research using either comparative-historical method or experimental method that was later published in a peer-reviewed journal? Recommendations for published undergrad work using other methods are also appreciated πŸ™‚ #sociology #teaching
