Here's a video of the Pride Train running on some of my modules that are part of the club's show layout this weekend. The cicada sounds in the background are sound effects from a couple other T-TRAK modules of mine thst are in the layout.

BlueSky gets to see it first. Car 1 of 6 has received its paint job and is ready for Pride Month. The plan is for the Pride Train to debut at a show June 5th & 6th, so I've got to get busy painting the rest of the fleet.
I've got a couple of the original Raspberry Pi Zeros from way back in the day, but never could figure out what to do with them. They don't have Wi-Fi, and just 1 micro-USB port, so not very useful. I recently found an adapter that adds Ethernet and 4 USB ports, and gives it the footprint of a Pi 3B.
I plan to build a mini rack that will hold these, as well as my regular Raspberry Pi boards, but that is a future project. Right now I'm trying to come up with names for these two so that when I SSH into them I don't have to remember the IP addresses.
I still have 2 more cars to paint, and the baggage car refused to stay coupled, but I was able to run the Pride Train at the one show my club has this month. Out of all my locomotives, UP1979 seemed like the most appropriate to pull the train.
New locomotive day! The locomotive i pre-ordered back in February 2023 that was originally supposed to arrive in May 2024 finally arrived today. But now I have my Kodachrome Santa Fe SD45-2.

I’d rather all my taxes go to SNAP, EBT, Food Stamps or whatever food assistance programs than to a Ballroom or war of choice.
On May 25, 1995, three web designers - Jeffrey Zeldman, Steve McCarron, and Alec Pollak - created an official website for Batman Forever.
At the time, it was one of the first web projects that used the WWW service as a marketing and visual medium.
