Elections have consequences. As do referenda. The votes in 2016 and 2019 resulted in Brexit. To say that it wasn't a majority is foolish. Those who didn't vote tacitly agreed to abide by the decisions of those who did.
Brexit was sold as trade liberation. Six years later the UK is negotiating from weakness with everyone it used to have leverage over.
I'm an advocate for just joining, no caveats, no special pleading (save for any intricacies that might need unpacking around the CAT).
But I recognise very few in the UK are ready for that.
Rejoiner's efforts are best spent making and winning that case at home first whilst cementing the....(1/2)
Arguing *for* the euro, and so forth, that's a call for the UK electorate, of course. But expecting another type of membership is futile.
