Had a dream last night that Malcolm Nance brought my dad and me a box of chocolate and toiletries. He and my dad were friends? My parents’ House was in a war zone and a woman in a tank drove through my parents‘ yard and destroyed everything. I went outside to fight her and that’s when I woke up.

Any running friends have recommendations for full leg compression sleeves for recovery? I am trying to get back into marathon shape after a long lapse of surgery/sitting on my butt and my knee high compression socks aren't cutting it. I need up over the knee and up the quads.

Friend is *SUCCESSFULLY* missing several non-essential organs and has been returned home with her prescribed meds. She's out of it. Her kids are... *SO* good but not at all helpful. Hoping her mom is taking care of her at this point. 🤞 (What a sad fucking thing to have to say.)

Gotta get up at 4:30 AM to take my friend to the hospital for surgery. Womp womp. At least she’s first on the schedule, I guess? I get to hang out with her kids all day too. I’ve got big plans to spoil them like crazy to keep the worry to a minimum. It’s almost tamagotchi time!

Cat woke me up at 1:30 AM for a snuggle session. Now he’s over here snoring and I’m up.

My dad called me later this afternoon to tell me about nightmare/flashback he had this morning about Vietnam. Reliving something that actually happened with a woman with a rifle. He said he woke up screaming. I knew something was wrong the minute I heard his voice. Just a weird coincidence.

So much of the internet is just people talking past each other.
