Just back from doing the weekly shopping. Major roadworks start on Monday. So my usual 4 mile round trip will become 24! I could use the back lanes. But they're mostly a single cars width and I can see them being jammed.

Max woke me just after 3am. I assumed he needed to spend a penny. Opening the door he shot off into the dark. There was a startled cry from a fox and a mad 20 minutes of trying to get a now muddy Max back indoors.
