i follow a mongolian family on insta who live a traditional nomadic lifestyle w a dairy heavy diet... THEY DON'T DRINK RAW MILK. they have a lot of kinds of yogurt/creams/fermented dairy drinks and they always boil the milk first at the start of the prep process
i found out that nathan straus, the guy who promoted milk pasteurization in the US the hardest and helped pass laws to that effect in major cities from the 1890s on, *lost two children to milkborne tuberculosis*
i truly wish raw milk influencers would stop

The unique thing they're doing is "fund public health enough to do its job."
Other states are trying to do similar things but at the end of the day, it's the state legislature that gets final say on funding it or not.
