I spy some light sheet microscopy at air-liquid interface πŸ‘€. Thanks for adding it to the list! www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6...
#FluorescenceFriday again, this time looking at mitochondria in two cells inside of a spheroid model. Imaged on our MOSAIC with adaptive optics + LLSM. This AIC project was done with Marguerite Blignaut's group at Stellenbosch University.
✨ We are looking forward to hosting Isabel Espinosa Medina of HHMI Janelia Research Campus at #2026SDB in Las Vegas! Her work explores how the autonomic nervous system affects the development and homeostasis of different organs like the pancreas. πŸ”¬ ✨#devbio
How does an orbiting spherical tissue suddenly break symmetry and sprout invasive strands? We can predict this behavior from the initial morphology! Hi, I’m @jiwon-kim.bsky.social from @ianywonglab.bsky.social.
It is finally out there in published form. πŸŽ‰ #MicroSplit (with an π•Š) #Microscopy πŸ”¬ #AI πŸ€– www.nature.com/articles/s41... And no paywall... so... enjoy the read! πŸ’Έ πŸ‘‹ This is where the post could end... but I will have to go on for a bit below... πŸ˜‰ 🧡

The Krendel lab has been working investigating Myo1e/f’s involvement in cell eating. Here’s a fun video of our work collected with @aicjanelia.bsky.social. Thanks a ton for helping us with this and the amazing #LightSheet imaging! Take a look at our work: www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6...
Happy #FluorescenceFriday, here is a macrophage engulfing a deformable particle imaged on our LLSM. This project from Mira Krendel's lab and the @aicjanelia.bsky.social just came out as a preprint today! www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6...
