mostly music appreciation, some programming stuff here and there, a bit of systems thinking

It feels like all this is setting up structures to bring kids into work earlier. Combined with deepening poverty, everything is sliding backwards to the times of mass exploitation.
Chipped chip.

Growing up in the 70s, it was a common admonishment to not read in bed because it would ruin your eyesight. I always found that super duper weird, right up there with masturbating making you blind. Old creeps making shit up to excuse being controlling assholes seems to be a time honoured tradition.
Brexit was far one of the most consequential victories for the Far Right. Not even bcs of the subject of the vote itself, but bcs it was built on a pack of lies and fear-mongering and most politicians were too cowardly / self-serving to condemn the results.

Don't wear them no more, but have kept them for some reason.
Apparently they'll be playing gigs across Europe in the next weeks. Have a lookout for them if you enjoy noisy free improv. Their first long set ended with a percussion section with turntables and sax, completely unreal and amazing.
And another of these gigs I almost didn't attend, and it lifted my spirits into the stratosphere. Luft (a duo of Mats Gustafsson on sax and other brass and Erwan Keravec on bagpipes) with Otomo Yoshihide on turntables and guitar lifted the roof off an old tannery in St. Johann in Tyrol.
